Today, was a very good, nice, enjoyable day. I went to the beach with the intent of receiving a surfing lesson from the boyfriend, as well as take the opportunity to play with portraiture on the large format cam. Surfing did not happen. Photography did, and it was a great success I feel like. (will post those soon.) Also, got to see my gooood sweet friend Emillyy whom I love spending time with and hadn’t seen in quite sometime.
Quality time with two of the people I enjoy the most, was awesome.
Then I walked down the street to the park and realized I was in a very good mood and that it was a really nice thing to do, walking down the street. I think I will make sure to do all the things I did today, more often.
Anyways this is the only picture I have readily available that, possibly, comes close to appropriately representing my mood today. :)
and yes, I do love emoticons.
and yes, this is a very happy, sappy, cheesy post.(I’m ok with that.)
You’ll be honest
You’ll be brave
You’ll be handsome and you’ll be beautiful
You’ll be happy
It did. :). Finally, Canon dig instead of Nikon.

Trading the Nikon for a Canon…yes pleaseee. Hopefully this works….
love how the morning feels. <3
I take these pictures whenever I look up and see whats above me. Always changing, and always beautiful and awesome. Who wouldn’t want to be like the sky?
“Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you’re really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I’ve got a few missing. It’s ok though, because I’ve got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation.. so when I meet someone who’s an 8-color type.. I’m like, “hey girl, magenta!” and she’s like, “oh, you mean purple!” and she goes off on her purple thing, and I’m like, “no - I want magenta!”

Three of my favorites from a recent series for a lighting exercise. I truly have beautiful people surrounding me on a daily basis. Thank you Blair Barba, Will Calver and Chelsea Grider.
